Twenty-two Northeast Florida nonprofits and residents in need have been nominated to receive a $7,500 paint makeover.
The Gift of Color contest is sponsored by Performance Painting Inc., a Jacksonville residential and commercial painter, and Money Pages.
Performance Painting and Money Pages will choose the winner from the top vote getters, according to a news release. The winner will receive free paint, labor and supplies.
"The entire Performance Painting crew will be providing their time, talents and resources to freshen up and restore the winner's home or facility," according to the release.
The winner will be announced in early January.
