JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Many Jacksonville families will enjoy holiday meals they would not otherwise have as a result of the fine work of SafeHouse, and the individuals and companies contributing to the organization’s mission of helping those in need.
SafeHouse continues to accept donations for the holiday season, including clothing, toys, food, gift cards and funds to aid in the Adopt-a-Family program.
Money Pages contributed to the cause by sponsoring the gripping play Another Sign, a musical that brings homelessness to life in the context of a love story. The evening included a silent auction and, combined with a portion of ticket sales, these funds are helping to give Jacksonville families a better holiday. Approximately 25 families will be helped by SafeHouse during this holiday season. Money Pages will present SafeHouse with its donation at an event on Dec. 22nd.
SafeHouse encourages the public and companies to reach the organization with offers of assistance during the holidays and throughout the year by calling 904-425-4228. It’s also the perfect time of year to learn more about the organization’s Adopt-a-Family program.
