Job Description:
The Money Pages – North East Florida's premiere Savings Magazine has been in the market since 2000. We are a marketing resource dedicated to helping businesses grow. As an Account Manager, you will be highly compensated for your performance as you work closely with local business owners, decision makers, decision influencers and advertising agencies, to create and implement successful advertising and marketing campaigns using the companies. The Money Pages Sales and Marketing staff believes in accountability, dedication, professionalism, honesty, communications, resourcefulness, and integrity. Responsibilities:
Uncover customer’s marketing challenges and develop solutions that may help them meet their goals using the Money Pages resources. Develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers – both local businesses and advertising agencies. Candidates must be able to work independently, while taking direction from the sales management team. The position requires the ability to talk in front of individuals or groups in a selling capacity. Major focus will be on prospecting and developing new business, the internet, direct mail and the magazine.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have completed high school or its equivalent. A college degree is preferred (Marketing or Communications a plus). Preferred minimum two years advertising sales experience, with working knowledge of selling to business to business, agency business, event sales and internet sales, or marketing experience with the ability to translate to sales. Applicants should have a solid working understanding of computers, with some experience using word processing software, spreadsheets and database management software such as found in Microsoft Office. Applicants will be asked to demonstrate their ability to communicate information both verbally and in the form of written presentations.
