Accounting Manager

The Money Pages has immediate opening for an Accounting Manager in Jacksonville, Florida.

Job Description:
The Money Pages – North East Florida's premiere Savings Magazine has been in the market since 2000. We are a marketing resource dedicated to helping businesses grow. The Money Pages staff believes in accountability, dedication, professionalism, honesty, communications, resourcefulness, and integrity.

Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to; create and print invoices. Track and apply payments from advertisers and merchants. Produce billing reports for management and sales staff. Handle all aspects of collections with advertiser accounts and sales staff. Process credit card payments, deposits and reconciling accounts. Attending managers’ meetings and keeping other departments informed on accounting department changes and policies. Other duties as necessary. Will work under the direction of the President & CEO.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have completed high school or its equivalent. A college degree is preferred. Preferred minimum five years accounting or collections experience. QuickBooks experience required. Applicants should have a solid working understanding of computers, with some experience using word processing software, spreadsheets and database management software such as found in Microsoft Office.
